The HW-F countersunk screw with drill bit is a high-performance screw designed for solid hardwood flooring.
Features and benefits:
- The screw is designed for installing solid wood flooring, decking, and tongue-and-groove wall and ceiling panels.
- The star-shaped TORX drive ensures a stable grip (no slipping) and high torque transmission.
- The reduced countersunk head (60 degrees) with a 5 mm diameter is specially designed for side and discreet fastening of tongue-and-groove boards.
- Specialized ribs (notches) ensure countersinking of the hole and fast tightening.
- The thread geometry prevents cracking in tongue-and-groove wooden planks.
- The partial thread of the special screw allows for tight fastening of the floor decking to the joists of the subframe system.
- No pre-drilling or countersinking of the hole is required.
- The drill bit at the end of the screw ensures fast and precise screwing into the substrate.
- Screws into the tongue at an angle of approximately 45°.
The high-tech HW-F screw for hardwood reduces the need for additional fasteners, such as clips (clamps) with nails, staples, or standard screws, significantly speeding up the installation of tongue-and-groove boards.
