Hexagon nut with flange (DIN 6923) consists directly of a hexagon nut and a round flat flange, which are connected together. The flange allows to apply this type of fastening in places where it is necessary to apply insignificant pressure on a surface. Special notches can be applied to the end of the nut flange to help prevent the nut from unscrewing. Alternatively, the flange can be smooth without any additional elements.
