The Nord Lock Washer is a washer consisting of two identical washers, which have radial notches on one side that create a force effect on the contact surfaces, and wedges on the other side that increase pre-tightening during vibration.
Scope DIN 134 is used in construction and heavy engineering to prevent loosening of fasteners under high dynamic loads and vibration. Among all types of self-locking or locking fasteners, these washers provide the most effective results. Thanks to this, these washers were widely used in the constructions of railway transport, port cranes, wind generators, etc.
