The DIN 705 retaining ring is a fastener designed to secure parts to shafts, axles, and rods in various mechanisms and equipment. The product is shaped like a solid ring with a threaded hole into which a set screw is screwed to ensure a secure grip on the shaft surface.
Scope It is used together with set screws (eg DIN 915; 916) to fix the part on the shaft (or rotor), which rotates together with this shaft (or rotor). It is used indoors.
