The DIN 705 retaining ring is a fastener designed to secure parts to shafts, axles, and rods in various mechanisms and equipment. The product is shaped like a solid ring with a threaded hole into which a set screw is screwed to ensure a secure grip on the shaft surface.
Application: Used in conjunction with set screws (e.g., DIN 915; 916) to secure a part to a shaft (or rotor) that rotates with the shaft (or rotor). Intended for indoor use. Coating: electrogalvanized zinc ~5 μm
Material: A2 stainless steel. The A2 steel grade allows the fastener to be used in environments with significant temperature fluctuations and in aggressive and humid conditions.
