Hexagon nut is a threaded fastener that forms a connection with a screw, bolt or pin.

DIN 7967 the principle of operation of this locking spring nut is based on the creation of resistance to untwisting due to the petals inside the nut and the cuts in the tops of the hexagon. The nut is mounted manually on a metric product: it is put on a bolt and at the same time petals inside turn in other party, becoming spring-loaded and resting against a carving. At the same time, under pressure during installation, the faces of the nut, resting on the part, diverge slightly due to the cuts in the tops, which create additional spacing stress between the part and the inner petals.

Scope The nut can be used on its own, for quick mounting on mechanisms in almost any industry, especially where access to the tool is difficult, and as an additional locking element that is installed after tightening the usual nut.

Material  stainless steel. The grade of steel A2 allows to use fastenings at considerable differences of temperature and in the aggressive and humid environment.
