A screw is a type of metal fastener, the name of which comes from the German word Schraube (screw). A screw is a threaded cylindrical metal rod that has a head on one side and a tapered, conical end on the other. The head of the screw creates a bearing surface and performs the role of torque transmission.

The scope of application is used to fasten thin materials, the thickness of which is insufficient to drill a place under the countersunk head.
