AN 217 Delta Wedge Anchor

An expansion anchor is a type of fastener that works on the principle of expansion. During installation, the expansion elements open up and press against the walls of the hole. The weight of the structure held by the fastener affects the anchor, and the stronger this effect, the greater the expansion and, accordingly, the stronger the structure is held.

Scope of use: used for critical installations; can only be installed in concrete and solid stone; material: galvanized steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel; the diameter of the hole in the base into which it is mounted and the diameter of the hole in the material being fastened must be exactly equal to the diameter of the anchor; withstands high tensile and shear loads; Some manufacturers offer modifications of this type of anchor for installation in stretched concrete areas and for dynamic loads.
