Slotted nut is a nut used to fix coaxial parts on shafts, such as bearings, bushings, ball bearings and other parts of rotation. They are usually lower and smaller in external parameters than standard hexagon nuts, but they are often used on large shafts, so a design was invented in which they can be tightened with a special wrench smaller than a regular wrench of the appropriate nut diameter. The wrench clings with a special tooth to one of the slots of the nut and, wrapping around its body, rests on it, allowing you to make an effort when turning.

Scope AN 86 is used on machine components, in cars on shock absorber racks, in bicycle components, on photographic lenses, etc.

Material high-strength structural alloy steel.

Coating Zinc (Plated) protects against corrosion if you plan to use fasteners in aggressive conditions.
