The HSS long twist drill is designed for drilling deep holes in metal with maximum precision. The increased length of this drill bit allows you to make deep holes. The self-centering cross-shaped tip with an angle of 135° enables active drilling and perfect centering without drift, thereby ensuring maximum accuracy.
The cross-shaped sharpened tip allows you not to pre-drill a 10 mm hole. The soft ground HSS (high speed steel) drill allows you to drill 40% faster using 50% less feed force than standard HSS drills with transverse serrated edges.
Scope the drill is designed for drilling deep holes in alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, iron ore, ductile iron, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics. It is equipped with a cylindrical shank (the diameter of the shank and the drill bit match) and is intended for use with drill stands and drills and screwdrivers.
