Technical characteristics
A self-tapping screw is a metal fastener that cuts its own thread in the material as it is screwed in.
A pan head is a type of head in which the upper part is hemispherical and the lower part is a flat support surface. These types of heads are aesthetically pleasing because they protrude slightly above the surface; they provide a large support area and are convenient for installing parts that do not require a countersunk hole.
A Torx slot is a type of screwdriver slot in the shape of a six-pointed star. The main advantages of the Torx slot are that it provides better torque transmission (less edge stripping than cross or straight slots); allows you to work with higher tightening torques and reduces the risk of the bit slipping during installation.
Field of application: metal structures, mechanical engineering and instrument making, construction and installation.
Material: A2 stainless steel allows the fasteners to be used in environments with significant temperature fluctuations and in aggressive and humid environments.
