Technical characteristics
The ART 9800 self-tapping screw is a self-tapping fastener made of stainless steel with a semi-countersunk head and Torx slot.
A semi-countersunk head is a fastener head shape in which the lower part is conical and enters the material, while the upper part remains slightly above the surface, thanks to which the load is distributed evenly and the head does not sink completely.
A Torx drive is a star-shaped drive that allows for greater torque when tightening, provides a secure grip with the tool, and reduces the risk of slipping and damaging the head.
Area of application: in construction, installation, and manufacturing work, particularly in facade construction, furniture manufacturing, engineering systems, and equipment.
Material: A2 stainless steel. The A2 steel grade allows the fasteners to be used in environments with significant temperature fluctuations and in aggressive and humid environments.
