Technical characteristics
A countersunk washer for self-tapping screws is a fastener designed to increase the contact area and improve the reliability of the joint when using self-tapping screws. Thanks to its design, the washer is countersunk into the assembly or substrate, ensuring a secure fastening.
Applications: automotive repair, construction, mechanical engineering. Used to create a threaded mounting point for self-tapping screws in thin-gauge metal products when welding or other types of fastening are not feasible.
Material: steel.
Coating: Zinc (Plated) protects against corrosion if the fastener is to be used in harsh environments.
