Technical characteristics
CPW Structural screws with cylindrical heads are designed for connecting wooden structural elements. Unlike partially threaded screws, which are mainly used for tightening elements, fully threaded screws strengthen and rigidly fix wooden elements, eliminating the need for additional connecting elements. Another advantage of CPW screws is that the cylindrical head is hidden in the wood, resulting in a completely invisible connection, which is not possible when using other connecting elements.
Torx is a type of screw or bolt head with a six-pointed star shape, designed to transfer more torque during tightening. This shape ensures a secure grip between the tool and the fastener, reducing the risk of the bit slipping and damaging the screw head.
Scope of application: construction; manufacture of wooden structures; carpentry; manufacture of wooden frame systems. These screws are used in load-bearing wooden structures with wooden elements.
Material: steel.
Coating: zinc. Zinc protects against corrosion if the fasteners are to be used in aggressive environments.
