Technical characteristics
The WDS countersunk head spacer screw for leveling wooden structures is designed for adjustable fastening and leveling of wooden structural elements, allowing the distance between them to be adjusted during installation.
A countersunk head is a type of screw head that has a conical shape with a flat top. When tightened, this head fully sinks into the material and becomes flush with the surface or even slightly below it.
A Torx drive is a type of drive on the head of a screw or bolt shaped like a six-pointed star, designed to transmit greater torque during tightening. This shape ensures a secure grip between the tool and the fastener, reducing the risk of the bit slipping and damaging the screw head.
Applications: They can be widely used in various wooden structures. They are ideal for renovating roofs with significant height differences in the slopes, leveling battens, as well as for fastening and vertically aligning facades. They feature special rings under the head that hold the material in place and allow for more precise adjustment, and the distance between elements can be adjusted by changing the direction of tightening.
Material: steel.
Coating: zinc. Zinc protects against corrosion if the fasteners are to be used in harsh environments.
