The hexagonal rivet nut is a mechanical fastener that provides a threaded connection in applications that can only be accessed from one side. It is ideal for use with thin sheet materials, tubing, extrusions or plastics.
The enlarged shoulder is designed to provide additional resistance or retention while tightening the nut.
