The Nord Lock washer is a washer consisting of two identical washers, which have on one side radial notches that create a force effect on the contact surfaces, and on the other side wedges that increase the pre-tightening during vibration.
The field of use is used in construction and heavy engineering to prevent loosening of fasteners under high dynamic loads and vibration. Among all types of self-locking or locking fasteners, these washers provide the most effective results. Thanks to this, these washers were widely used in the constructions of railway transport, port cranes, wind generators, etc.
The material of manufacture is stainless steel. The A4 steel grade allows you to use fasteners at significant temperature changes and in an aggressive and humid environment.
