AN 785 Gallock Washer is a washer consisting of two identical washers, one side of which features radial notches that exert a force on the contact surfaces, while the other side features wedges that reinforce pre-tensioning under vibration.
Applications: Used in construction and heavy machinery to prevent fasteners from loosening under high dynamic loads and vibration. Among all types of self-locking or retaining fasteners, these washers provide the most effective results. As a result, these washers are widely used in the construction of railway transport, port cranes, wind turbines, etc.
Material: steel.
Coating: zinc flake. Zinc flake protects against corrosion if the fasteners are to be used in aggressive environments.
