DIN 964 A screw with a semi-countersunk head and a straight slot is a fastener with a metric thread, the head of which has a semi-countersunk (convex countersunk) shape with a conical seating angle and a straight slot for tightening or unscrewing with a flat screwdriver. As a rule, countersunk heads are used on the outside to connect several structural parts. Thanks to their technical characteristics and design features, these screws create a reliable, strong connection between parts and also preserve the aesthetic appearance of the structure.
Scope of application: construction, mechanical engineering, manufacturing.
Material: brass. Brass provides good electrical conductivity and resistance to oxidation. This material does not rust and is suitable for long-term use in humid or chemically neutral environments.
