DIN 965 is a screw that consists of a countersunk head on which a spline and a fully threaded rod are placed.
It is used in construction, automotive, industrial and manufacturing sectors together with washers and nuts of appropriate sizes.
Material of manufacture: steel, strength class 4.8.
Coating: black zinc plating. Main characteristics of this coating:
- Organic black topcoat;
- Excellent corrosion protection;
- High hiding power on silver and black base coatings;
- Attractive uniform black appearance;
- Very good chemical resistance; increased UV resistance;
- Excellent adhesion, i.e. the coating does not peel, crack or flake even under mechanical stress or chemical attack;
- Integrated lubricant component for controlled friction characteristics;
- No hydrogen embrittlement;
- Excellent corrosion resistance in NSST and cyclic corrosion tests.
