Contouring in DIN 980 is due to the design features of the hole: it can be a narrowed edge of the hole, or a special metal retaining ring, depending on the shape. When used in elevated temperatures, it is best to choose DIN 980.

Scope DIN 980 is used in mechanical engineering, construction, warehousing equipment, lifting equipment, agricultural machinery, tools, etc.
