The rivet nut is considered to be a universal fastener that is used to create reliable, high-strength and long-lasting permanent connections between two or more construction elements made of different materials.

The partially hexagonal rivet nut is a mechanical fastener that provides a threaded connection in applications that can only be accessed from one side and require an extremely high resistance to torque. It is ideal for use with thin sheet materials, tubing, extrusions or plastics.

The reduced shoulder rivet nut is a special type of nut where the shoulder has a smaller diameter than in standard nuts.

Applications are automotive, electrical engineering, construction and architecture, maintenance and repair.

Zinc (Plated) coating protects against corrosion if the fastener is to be used in aggressive conditions.
