Technical characteristics
A cap nut is a nut that covers the threaded portion both decoratively and to protect the thread. DIN 1587 can “cover” longer parts of the threaded portion of a bolt or screw.
Area of application: DIN 1587 is used in playgrounds, sports equipment, etc.
Material of manufacture: steel, strength class 6.
Coating: Zinc plating protects against corrosion if the fasteners are to be used in aggressive environments.
