DIN 6899 is used to protect loops of cargo slings, to protect loops of products made of synthetic and organic ropes. Since fittings in the form of cargo hooks are installed on the loop of rope slings, it is prone to rapid wear under high load. The cover is designed primarily to protect the slings from the middle, thereby extending the life of this product.
