DIN 126 A flat washer is a washer used in mechanical joints to evenly distribute the load of a fastener. DIN 126 differs from DIN 125 by the absence of a chamfer, a thicker thickness and wider holes. It is used in conjunction with bolts, studs, screws and other elements to increase the pressure area on the clamped object.
Washer hardness: 100HV.
Applications: mechanical engineering and metalworking, construction and installation, energy and electrical engineering, automotive and aviation industries.
Coating: Zinc (Plated) protects against corrosion if the fastener is to be used in aggressive environments.
Analog: ISO 7091.
