AN 133 254 SMO Steel Nord-Lock Washer

A Nord-Lock washer is a washer consisting of two identical washers, one side of which features radial notches that exert a force on the mating surfaces, while the other side features wedges that reinforce the preload under vibration.

Application: DIN 133 is used in construction and heavy machinery to prevent fasteners from loosening under high dynamic loads and vibration. Material: 254 SMO steel. 254 SMO is a high-alloy super-austenitic stainless steel containing elevated levels of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and nitrogen. Thanks to this composition, it is twice as strong as 300 series steel and demonstrates exceptional resistance to aggressive environments.
