Technical characteristics
A washer with an internal projection is a fastener used in conjunction with a slotted nut DIN 1804. It is installed between the part that is clamped on the shaft (bearing, bushing) and the slotted nut. The inner leg is wound into a longitudinal groove, which allows you to fix it from turning, and the outer part of the washer bends into the groove of the slotted nut when it is clamped to the end, which makes it impossible to unscrew it.
Scope DIN 462 is used in shipbuilding, industry, construction for reliable fixation of structural fasteners. The internal antenna prevents self-unscrewing of threaded connections under dynamic impact and vibration.
