Technical characteristics
The locking spring washer type VS, notched is a plate spring with special teeth on both sides. The washer has an increased thickness, so it is advisable to use high-strength bolts or screws with a strength class of at least 8.8. This will ensure a higher tightening force, which will increase the reliability of the connection.
The lock washer is widely used in components or mechanisms where it is necessary to protect the threaded connection from self-tightening and loosening. The use of this washer is mainly associated with those conditions where its operation is constantly exposed to various vibrations.
