DIN 127-B Zinc-Nickel Black Spring Washer (Grover)

DIN 127-B is a standard spring washer (grooved washer) used to prevent fasteners from loosening on their own. DIN 127-B is a washer consisting of a ring split into two parts and bent at the required angle relative to the main plane of the fastened part. These washers are placed under the heads of screws, bolts, and nuts, and are also fitted onto studs to prevent the threaded portion from unscrewing and to increase clamping force. The difference between a Type B washer and a Type A washer is that its ends are straight, resulting in less spring action but uniform contact with the surface.
