Technical characteristics
The grooved rivet provides an effective and safe method of fastening metal to soft and fibrous surfaces. This fastener does not require through holes. As it expands inside the material, the thread of the rivet head forms a kind of "staple" that clings to the walls, providing a high-strength connection. These rivets are used for use in blind, impassable holes. The thread provides a strong fit inside the rivet joint.
A flat shoulder is the most versatile type of rivet head for all-round use.
Scope of application: widely used in furniture manufacturing and in the construction industry for fastening metal surfaces to wood, brick or cement.
Material: Combination of aluminum (Mg3.5) and steel elements.
