The Hard Lock rivet is designed for fastening elements where exceptional resistance to both breakage and shear is required. Due to its riveting characteristics and the wide expansion on the blind side, the load and clamping force are distributed. It is therefore particularly suitable for working with thin sheet materials.

Flat shoulder means that the head has a flat, flat surface without a pronounced protrusion or shoulder.
