The ART 9312 is a square nut, a fastener that fits into a prepared hole that corresponds to the outer diameter of the nut cylinder. When hammered in, the teeth cut into the wood, after which it is possible to screw in any suitable fastener with a metric thread from the opposite end of the hole.
