DIN 3055 is a steel tensile rope, which is a rigging accessory made of connected strands. The DIN 3055 tension rope was given this name because it is used to stretch elements. Application of medium soft ropes DIN 3055
A tension rope of DIN 3055 standard is used for the installation of television towers, antennas, and remote signal transmission devices. It is also widely used for fixing high-voltage lines to increase the strength of fixation. With a run of more than 100 meters, it is necessary to mount a cable fixed around the high-frequency line between the transmitters and the receiver. And when moving through the sections, a galvanized rope and power transmission cable are fixed. In this case, the load is taken by the rope, which has a safety margin.
In addition, the scope of application directly depends on the material of manufacture and coating of the product:
- Galvanized steel offers good corrosion protection if the fastener is to be used in aggressive environments.
- Stainless steel allows the fasteners to be used at significant temperature fluctuations and in aggressive and humid environments.
