DIN 6319 Spherical or ball washer is a hardware product intended for fastening structural elements in non-parallel surfaces. There are three types of shapes - C (curved), D and G (concave). They are most popular in mechanical engineering and instrumentation.
Fastening group DIN 6319
DIN 6319 washers are most often made of stainless steel and belong to the stainless fastener group.
Materials for the manufacture of DIN 6319 washers
DIN 6319 Spherical washer is made of the following materials:
- Steel, which can optionally be coated with zinc. Zinc (Plated) protects against corrosion if the fastener is to be used in aggressive environments.
- Stainless steel grades A2 and A4. Steel grade A2-80 allows the fasteners to be used at high temperature extremes and in aggressive and humid environments.
Application range of washers DIN 6319
Spherical washers and conical sockets DIN 6319 are used when clamping elements need to adapt to non-parallel surfaces.
Spherical washers and conical (ball) washers DIN 6319 are machine tool parts designed to clamp components with non-parallel planes. They can be used in construction and engineering to fasten structural elements whose planes are not parallel. They are used with metric rods and nuts. They are made of high hardness carbon steel, uncoated or galvanized.
