DIN 766 is a short-link chain that is suitable for use in the national economy as well as in the field of structural fastening. The chain consists of interconnected links that form a long product. The finished fastening element is wound on coils for practical transportation, operation and storage.
DIN 766 fastening group
DIN 766 chains are most often made of stainless steel and belong to the stainless steel fastener group.
Materials for the manufacture of DIN 766 chains
DIN 766 chains are manufactured in the following materials:
- Steel, which is additionally coated with zinc. Zinc (Plated) protects against corrosion if the fastener is to be used in aggressive environments.
- Stainless steel of steel grades A2 and A4. This steel grade allows the fasteners to be used at high temperature extremes and in aggressive and humid environments.
Application range of DIN 766 chains
Application area for suspension of chains with a weight not exceeding the working load of the chain, national economy, suspensions and extensions, various rigging devices for non-cargo purposes, as a structural element of hoists and hoist trolleys, installation and maintenance of non-load-bearing structures in the field of construction.
