An ISO 15975 pull rivet is a rivet consisting of a body on a core. The rivet body contains a core that can be removed after installation. At one end of the rod is a semicircular head, which deforms the body and creates a tight joint. Installation is accomplished by using a manual, pneumatic or hydraulic riveting tool. Depending on the type of head, rivets are distinguished: - extraction rivets with a standard shoulder - this type is considered universal, suitable for various connection works; - extraction rivets with a wide shoulder - mainly these rivets are used to fasten fragile and unstable materials that can deform during installation; - extraction rivets with a countersunk shoulder - for making aesthetic connections, where it is important to hide fasteners, as well as to create a flat, smooth surface of the materials and the base of the structure.
Fastener group ISO 15975
Depending on the material of manufacture, the ISO 15975 rivet is divided into:
- Stainless fasteners
- Copper fastener
- Aluminum fasteners
Materials of manufacture
The material of manufacture of the ISO 15975 rivet is very diverse: it includes both conventional A2 and A4 stainless steel, as well as combined material variants:
- Al/St
- St/St
- Al/Al
- Cu/St
- Cu/Br
- Al/A2
Where ISO 15975 rivets are used
Due to the unique technical characteristics of ISO 15975, strength, reliability and high corrosion resistance, stainless steel rivets are widely used in many industries and activities. They are often used in various construction and assembly processes: in the process of building facade systems, for connecting sheet materials to support structures, fastening facing materials, for fastening elements of door and window structures, etc.
Pull rivet ISO 15975 is used in mechanical engineering, for joining individual parts in the manufacture of airplanes, cars, railcars, agricultural and farm machinery, plants and equipment, in the manufacture of medical equipment and equipment. Also stainless steel rivets are used in the production of electronics and household appliances: air conditioners, heating boilers, refrigerators, washing machines, fans, radiators, computers, computing equipment, banking equipment, cash register equipment, etc. In addition to industries, this type of rivets can be used in ordinary household conditions.
