ISO 2338 is a cylindrical guide shifter. It is designed to connect two elements that are not subjected to high loads or that transmit small dynamic loads. They are used for the firm fixation of several structural parts.
ISO 2338 fastening group
ISO 2338 pins are most often made of stainless steel and belong to the stainless steel fastening group.
Materials used for the manufacture of ISO 2338 pins
The ISO 2338 pin is manufactured in the following materials:
- Steel
- Stainless steel, grades A1 and A4.
Scope of use of ISO 2338 pins
Cylindrical smooth pin ISO 2338 is a guiding element that protects the connected parts from lateral displacement relative to each other. It is used when assembling assemblies that are not subjected to high usage. It is made in the form of a cylinder without threads and with rounded ends. Non-hardened pins are manufactured from particularly strong carbon steel. They are supplied uncoated and treated with anti-corrosion grease.
