Grover is a small simple metal fastener that can withstand heavy shock loads and act as a stop.
Grover DIN 7980 differs from DIN 127 in the shape of the cut. It is square, as opposed to rectangular in 127. Therefore, it is slightly smaller in width and lighter in weight. This type of fastening is suitable for a screw connection, that is, when a screw is screwed into a part, without a nut and a grover must be placed under a cap, DIN 127 would be wide for such caps and would only be used for 50% of its locking capabilities. Whereas DIN 7980 fits perfectly on the outer edge of screw caps with smaller widths than nuts or bolt caps.
Scope machine building, instrument building, machine tool building, facades, solar energy.
Material high-strength structural alloy steel.
Coating Application of Dacromet coating does not lead to hydrogen embrittlement of steels that are coated. The coating has conductive properties, its more electronegative potential relative to steel creates an electrochemical protection in addition to a barrier.
Analog DIN 127.
