A rivet nut is considered a universal fastener that is used to create reliable, high-strength and long-term permanent connections of two or more structural elements made of different materials.

The partially hexagonal rivet nut is a mechanical fastener that provides a threaded connection in applications that are accessible from only one side and require extremely high resistance to twisting. It is ideal for use with thin sheet materials, pipes, extrusions or plastics.

The enlarged shoulder is designed to provide additional resistance or locking when tightening the nut.

Applications: automotive industry, electrical engineering, metallurgy, household appliances.
