Rivet S-Trebol WP has a large counter head formed by three lobes, which provides a large contact surface on the back side. This significant expansion on the blind side distributes the load and clamping force, reducing the risk of crushing and breaking materials.

The flat shoulder type of rivet is used where no additional outrigger or recessed joint is required, and they can be useful where it is necessary for the rivet not to protrude beyond the surfaces of the materials being joined.
