Overview
DIN 3570 is a pipe metal U-shaped clamp (bolt-clamp). The clamp resembles an inverted English letter U. The bend of this fastener has a certain diameter, at the ends of which a metric thread is cut.

DIN 3570 clamps are made primarily of stainless steel and belong to the stainless steel fastener group.

The DIN 3570 clamps are made of:
- Steel, which can be optionally coated with zinc and hot dip galvanized
- Stainless steel, steel grades A2 and A4.
Areas of application of the U-shaped clamp
This type of clamp is used in virtually all areas of human activity. However, they are most commonly used in construction and engineering. The main way to use the clamp is to fasten pipelines of various sizes in the design position, as well as to fix other elements and structures with a round cut.
The scope of application also directly depends on the material of manufacture and coating:
- Zinc, which protects the steel from corrosion if the fasteners are to be used in aggressive environments.
- Stainless steel. Strength class A2 allows the bolts to be used at significant temperature fluctuations and in aggressive and humid environments.
