Overview
GOST 24137-80 is a pipe metal U-shaped clamp (bolt-clamp). The clamp resembles an inverted English letter U. The bend of this fastener has a certain diameter, at the ends of which a metric thread is cut.

This type of clamp is used in virtually all areas of human activity. However, they are most commonly used in construction and engineering. The main way to use the clamp is to fasten pipelines of various sizes in the design position, as well as to fix other elements and structures with a round cut.
The scope of application also directly depends on the material of manufacture and coating:
- Zinc, which protects the steel from corrosion if the fasteners are to be used in aggressive environments.
- Stainless steel. Strength class A2 allows the bolts to be used at significant temperature fluctuations and in aggressive and humid environments.
