Self-locking Nut with small step it is a nut used in connection elements that are constantly under the influence of dynamic loads, and especially vibration, which can cause untwisting. Contouring in DIN 985 is due to the nylon ring, in which the thread is cut when twisting.
Scope DIN 985 is used in mechanical engineering, construction, warehousing equipment, lifting equipment, agricultural machinery, tools, etc.
