AISI 316 Ti is an austenitic stainless steel alloyed with molybdenum and titanium. It offers high corrosion resistance in aggressive environments and high temperatures.

Characteristics:
- High corrosion resistance:

- to acids, such as sulfuric, nitric, and phosphoric.
- to pitting corrosion.
- to intergranular corrosion.
- Sensitization resistance: AISI 316 Ti has better resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or heating compared to AISI 316L.
- Weldability: easily welded using various methods.
- Ductility: easily shaped and formed.
- Strength: high tensile and yield strength.
Disadvantages:
- Relatively high cost
- Difficult to machine
