Oilers are universal metal products that facilitate the lubrication of the structural unit of the working mechanism.

They are often used to supply liquid lubricant to the surface of bearings and piston pumps. Oil presses manufactured according to modern standards (DIN 71412, DIN 3402, DIN 3404, DIN 3405, AN 282, etc.) have found their application not only in industrial machine and machine tool construction, but also in amateur repair of automobile equipment. ....
Structurally, an oil press is a metal product in the form of a non-return valve, which is mounted on the lubrication channel of the structure. Oil injection is possible only in one direction. For this purpose, a metal ball is located in the inner channel of the oil press housing, which closes the passage opening of the metalwork under the action of a spring. In order to lubricate the working unit of the mechanism through the oil press, oil or other low-viscosity lubricating fluid is supplied under pressure. As a result, the ball pushes the spring, and the lubricant fills the working mechanism. As soon as the pressure weakens, the spring returns the ball to its place and closes the passage channel. |
Rod or lever syringes, pumps and special grease guns, as well as compatible connecting hoses or nozzles are used to inject oil through the oil press. The head of the oil press, which is installed on the work equipment, can be protected with a metal or plastic cap.
Other common names for oil presses are grease nipples or grease nipples (tavot is an outdated name for solidol).
Classification of oilseeds
A large number of constructive types of oil presses is due to the versatility of this metal product. The location, connection method and availability of the lubrication channel of a technical device can be very diverse, and therefore manufacturers strive to fill the market of technical devices with a wide variety of constructive solutions.
Oil presses differ:
- the shape of the head, which is determined by the standard - DIN 71412, DIN 3402, DIN 3404, DIN 3405, AN 282, etc. It is the shape of the head that determines the compatible type of syringe tip or other tool for injecting lubricant;
- by the method of connecting the oil press to the work unit (threaded, pressing, self-tapping);
- the angle of inclination of the head of the oil press in relation to the shank (straight and angular).
The main varieties of oilseeds
For use in various structural units, it is recommended to use such types of oil press.
